Camp Design (Auschwitz I)

Auschwitz I was a show camp. It contained 28 brick buildings, 20 of which were residential, as well as a hospital and two bath houses. In the original design prisoners slept on the ground, but then later three tiered bunks were built for prisoners to pile into.
