Camp Size

The site of Auschwitz which constrained male prisoners was around 300 m x 200 m (approximately 1000 ft x 650 ft). The women's camp (BIa and BIb) in total size was around 750 m x 300 m (approximately 2500 ft x 1000 ft).The actual territory of the entire camp (Auschwitz II Birkenau) measured 750 m x 1800 m (approximately 2500 ft x 6000 ft).
